Fashion Swimwear -- Look Good and Be Cool In the summer

If you want to swim, or even just laze around a pool and show off your tan, you will need to wear some kind of bathing suit. Suits have come a very long way since they were first introduced. Men's used to look like long underwear and women's were like regular dresses and almost as long. Heaven forbid they should show an ankle! One piece suits are still around but the bikini, then even skimpier suits, was brought into the mainstream. You can now buy separate pieces of swimwear -- one for your top and one for your bottom half and then a cover-up. They can be one piece suits, bikinis, thongs and tankinis. For men there are boxer-type suits, bikini bottom style suits and everything in between. The men have yet to have quite as many as the ladies, but they're getting there. You can swim in most suits but a few are for "display" only.
